While the build quality leaves alot to be desired for, especially in the runners ports where they meet the flange, this order was bought, shipped, and received before fab9 tuning even refunded the money for my order through them, that I had made TWO MONTHS prior, so kudos on timing
where do i start? i’ve had this intake for maybe over 2 years now and i don’t plan on ever switching it up for as long as a 4 cylinder stays in this car! gotta admit, this intake makes it harder to take the 4 cylinder out.
anyhow, i will say if you do not have an adequate catch can setup or if any at all, oil will pool at the back bottom of the manifold and collect there until it’s sucked in by cylinders from, yes, sloshing.
i guess that might be the grain of salt with the sugar. its sort of user error at that point and not necessarily a design flaw. get a good catch can for all pcv vacuum for sure!
really brought a grunt it didn’t have before in the midrange and up top. and it’s just so responsive.
if you want itbs, but don’t want itbs, get this. seriously.
