I got this about this time last year and still to do this day it’s my favorite mod in the car. The installation is involved for sure, and most YouTube videos say to drop the end of the trans to get the mounting bracket for the old shifter off but YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DROP THE TRANSMISSION OR ANY MOUNTS. Yes me and my brother were under my car for probably 25-30 minutes removing the bolts on the top but with the right swivel ratchet wrench I promise it is do able, and we also took a while to figure out how to get the bracket out but again, IT IS DOABLE WITHOUT DROPPING THE TRANS OR ANY MOUNTS. Most YouTube videos told me that you did but I want to be clear you can do it with out doing so. But the shifter feels great, very short throws, and fun to bang on. *you will want a dremal or something of the sorts because you do have to notch out a tiny piece of your shift boot ring to make clearance for the reversing lock*
