Do Not use the suggested filters - They don't fit.

I agree with Doug. It clearly uses M20-1.5 threads. All the filters listed here are 13/16-16 threads, which is 0.6mm larger in diameter and doesn't fit securely. Like Doug, the filter will blow off eventually and pump all the oil on the ground. So, here's a secret... Use WIX 51523. After much research, it has the correct sealing dimensions and the correct M20-1.5 threads. Thanks to Doug for saving my engine!

Installed on coyote gen 1 motor in 72 f100 with crown Vic front the part that goes to motor worked great but the part were you install the oil filter doesn’t work it says it uses a 13/16-16 oil filter and it doesn’t I blew the oil filter clean off the first start. The threads are m20-1.5 (Chinese junk) and can’t find a oil filter wide enough so I
Had to buy the mmr kit instead.

After looking a pictures to see how it installs it fit perfect. Some directions with the kit would be helpful.
