Unlike traditional top-mount turbo systems, the STRATEC™ mid-mount design positions the turbocharger beside the transmission. This strategic placement reduces engine bay heat, improves weight distribution, and allows the turbocharger to be fed by equal-length runners for superior exhaust flow and impressive spool characteristics.

The twin-scroll T4 configuration delivers turbo response comparable to many twin-turbo setups while preserving the distinctive VQ V6 exhaust tone enthusiasts love.
